New York University




New York University (NYU) is a non-sectarian private American research university based in the city of New York. The main campus of New York University is located in Greenwich Village in Lower Manhattan. Founded in 1831, NYU is one of the largest private non-profit institutions of higher education in America.

NYU is organized in more than 20 schools, colleges and institutes, located in six centers throughout Manhattan and downtown Brooklyn, and more than a dozen sites worldwide, with plans for further expansion. According to the Institute of International Education, University of New York sends more students to study abroad than any other US college or university, and the College Board reported more online searches for international students to "University New York "than any other university.

The University offers courses in the program between the humanities, sciences, education, health professions, law, medicine, business, the arts, communication and social services. In most cases, this university has grown rapidly and now has 14 schools, colleges, and divisions.

Many awards and achievements of these universities, one of which is the success of 70 students are elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. And more new exciting, in 2014, a total of 12 faculty members has memnangkan Guggenheim Fellowship.
