Online doctoral degree programs

Reach the pinnacle of your career without having to rearrange your life.

University of Phoenix offers eight doctoral programs — all of which are available online. Distinguish yourself as a leader in business, influence education at the state and federal levels, or shape the processes that will make businesses more competitive in the marketplace — all from your Internet-connected computer.

Our School of Advanced Studies uses the Scholar, Practitioner, Leader ModelSM, which combines theory, practice and leadership to help you influence and inspire others in your field. You’ll also work with a dissertation chairperson to create original research that addresses a problem in your field of study. Helping you complete your journey are more than 15 dissertation workshops and research faculty members who will respond to your questions within 24–48 hours.

You’ll also participate in three- to eight-day residencies that will help you refine your research skills and enable you to work face to face with your peers. Residencies are a required component of every doctoral degree except the Educational Specialist (EdS) program.
